Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Departure for Jordan

Embark on your journey to Jordan. Board your flight with anticipation, ready to explore the historical and spiritual landmarks of this remarkable country. Relax during your flight and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 2: Arrival in Amman

Arrive at Amman Airport, where a representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Take the evening to relax and acclimate. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Amman.

Day 3: Jerash – Ajlun – Umm Qais

After breakfast, travel to Ajlun to explore the Mamluk fortress, offering stunning views over the Jordan Valley. Continue to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world, with highlights including the Oval Plaza, Cardo Maximus, and Hadrian’s Arch. End the day at Umm Qais, an ancient Greco-Roman city with panoramic views of Lake Tiberias and the Golan Heights. Return to Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Amman City Tour – Desert Castles

After breakfast, begin your city tour of Amman with visits to the Citadel, Roman Theater, Archaeological Museum, and King Abdullah Mosque. Explore the vibrant cityscape, blending ancient and contemporary cultures. In the afternoon, head to the Eastern Desert to visit the Desert Castles: Qasr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Qasr Kharaneh, and Qasr al Azraq, each illustrating the flourishing Islamic civilization of the Umayyad Dynasty. Return to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Madaba – Mount Nebo – Baptism Site – Dead Sea

Begin your day in Madaba, known for its spectacular Byzantine mosaics, including the famous mosaic map at the Church of St. George. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land. Visit Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the baptism site of Jesus by John the Baptist. Conclude your day with a visit to the Dead Sea, where you can relax and experience the unique buoyancy of its mineral-rich waters. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Dead Sea.

Day 6: Kerak – Little Petra – Petra

After breakfast, travel to Kerak to explore its imposing Crusader fortress, which offers insight into the military history of the Crusades. Continue to Little Petra, a fascinating Nabatean site with rock-cut buildings and ancient frescoes. Arrive in Petra in the evening, ready to explore this ancient city. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Petra.

Day 7: Full Day in Petra

Spend the day exploring Petra, the Rose Red City. Begin with a walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge leading to the magnificent Treasury. Visit the Street of Facades, the Court House, the Amphitheater, and if time permits, climb to the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice. Immerse yourself in the rich history and stunning architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Petra.

Day 8: Petra – Wadi Rum

After breakfast, depart for Wadi Rum, a spectacular desert landscape. Enjoy a 2-hour Jeep tour through the stunning desert terrain, with its towering sandstone mountains and ancient rock carvings. Experience the serene beauty of the desert, and spend the night in a traditional Bedouin camp, enjoying dinner under the stars.

Day 9: Wadi Rum – Aqaba

After breakfast, continue your adventure with a Jeep tour in Wadi Rum. In the afternoon, travel to Aqaba, Jordan’s only coastal city, on the shores of the Red Sea. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the beach or explore the vibrant markets and historical sites. Overnight in Aqaba.

Day 10: Departure from Aqaba to Amman
