Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Departure for Greece
Begin your spiritual adventure with an overnight flight to Athens, Greece.
Day 2: Arrival in Athens
Upon arrival in Athens, meet your local Sacred Travel Paths representative. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring the city or relaxing. Gather for a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Athens.
Day 3: Athens & Corinth
Start the day with a tour of Athens, visiting the Acropolis to see the Parthenon, Erechtheum, and Propylaea. Ascend Mars Hill, where Paul spoke to the Athenians. Continue to Corinth, where Paul preached and stayed for a year and a half. Visit the marketplace, the Temple of Apollo, and the Corinth Museum. Return to Athens, stopping at the ancient port of Cenchreae. Dinner and overnight stay in Athens.
Day 4: Cruise – Mykonos
Depart early for Piraeus and set sail into the Aegean Sea. Arrive in Mykonos in the evening, exploring its picturesque white houses, churches, and charming windmills. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Cruise – Ephesus, Turkey & Patmos, Greece
Arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey, and explore Ephesus, where Paul preached. Visit the house of Mary and the ruins of the city. In the afternoon, sail to Patmos, Greece, and visit the cave where John wrote the Book of Revelation. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Cruise – Santorini & Crete
Visit Heraklion on the island of Crete, where Paul met the ship’s owner before his journey to Rome. Optional excursions to the Palace of Knossos are available. In the afternoon, arrive in Santorini and take a cable car to the town of Fira for a breathtaking view. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 7: Athens & Thessaloniki
Disembark in Athens and transfer to Thessaloniki. Visit the places where Paul lived and preached, including the Agora and the Jewish quarter. Dinner and overnight stay in Thessaloniki.
Day 8: Thessaloniki & Kavala
Travel to Kavala, ancient Neapolis, where Paul first set foot in Europe. Visit Philippi, where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe and baptized Lydia, the first Christian convert in Europe. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Thessaloniki, Berea & Athens
Journey back to Athens via Berea, where Paul and Silas were accused by the Jewish community. See the legendary battle site of Thermopylae. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Athens, reflecting on the journey’s spiritual and historical significance.
Day 10: Athens & Return to the USA
After breakfast, transfer to Athens airport for your return flight, carrying cherished memories and a renewed faith.
