Days 1–5: Pilgrimage in France Day 1: Departure for France

Our journey begins as we depart the USA for Lourdes. Complimentary meals and beverages will be served during the transatlantic flight.

Day 2: Arrival in Lourdes

Arrive in Lourdes via Paris and meet your Sacred Travel Paths representative. After checking into the hotel, enjoy an introductory tour of the Sanctuary, followed by the evening Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (D)

Day 3: Lourdes: In the Footsteps of Bernadette

Begin your day with Mass at the Grotto, followed by a walking tour to sites associated with St. Bernadette, including the Cachot, Boly Mill, and her parish church. Visit the Healing Baths or join the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. After dinner, participate in the Rosary and Torchlight Procession. Overnight in Lourdes. (B, D)

Day 4: Lourdes / Paris

This morning begins with Mass and leisure time in Lourdes for personal reflection or a final visit to the Sanctuary. Late morning, we board the TGV high-speed train for Paris, enjoying the scenic journey. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel for dinner and rest. (B, D)

Day 5: Paris: Sacred Sites

Celebrate Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, then visit Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Sacré-Cœur). Explore Montmartre’s charming Artist Quarter during your free time. Overnight in Paris. (B, D)

Days 6–10: Pilgrimage in Italy Day 6: Paris / Rome

Fly from Paris to Rome. Upon arrival, visit the Basilica of St. Mary Major and check into your hotel. Afternoon visit the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Enjoy an evening of leisure in the Eternal City. (B, D)

Day 7: Rome: Papal and Early Christian Sites

Celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and tour the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran and the Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs). Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)

Day 8: Rome: Christian Martyrs and Saints

Begin with a visit to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian. Continue to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where St. Paul’s tomb resides. End the day at the Church of St. Cecilia in Trastevere. (B, D)

Day 9: Assisi: In the Footsteps of St. Francis

Travel to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis and St. Clare. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, the Church of St. Clare, and Santa Maria degli Angeli, home of the Porziuncola. Celebrate Mass and return to Rome for a farewell dinner. (B, D)

Day 10: Return Home

As our spiritual pilgrimage draws to a close, we bid farewell to the British Isles and board our return flight home. Depart from Edinburgh with cherished memories of historic sites, spiritual revelations, and the enduring beauty of England and Scotland.
