Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Departure for Israel
Depart from your home city and connect with the overnight flight to Tel Aviv. (Meals in-flight)
Day 2: Arrive Tel Aviv – Bethlehem
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, meet your Guide and driver and transfer to Bethlehem. Check-in at your hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy an Evening Welcome Dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Bethlehem / Hebron
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Shepherd’s Fields to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Return to Bethlehem to explore the Church of the Nativity and the Chapel of the Massacre of the Innocents. Visit Milk Grotto and Mamre, where God promised Abraham. After lunch on your own, journey to Hebron to visit the ancient Tomb of the Patriarchs. Return to Bethlehem for leisure time and shopping, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Bethlehem / Nazareth / Tiberias
After breakfast, depart Bethlehem via Bethany to Wadi Qelt for a short devotion. Continue to Jericho, the oldest city in the world, and climb the Tel to view the Mount of Temptation. Drive through the Jordan Valley to Nazareth. Enjoy lunch on your own before visiting the Church of the Annunciation and the ancient churches and ruins of Nazareth. Visit the Church of the Wedding at Cana and the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Tiberias / Sea of Galilee
Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes and descend to Tabgha to see the Church of Loaves and Fishes, where Jesus performed the miracle of feeding the Five Thousand, and the Church of the Primacy of Peter. Enjoy lunch on your own before continuing to Banias – Caesarea Philippi, where Peter acknowledged Jesus as the Christ. Return to Tiberias for a wooden boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 6: Tiberias / Caesarea / Jerusalem
After breakfast, ascend Mount Tabor for panoramic views over the Valley of Jezreel, Galilee, Gilead, and Samaria. Visit the Church of the Transfiguration before traveling to ancient Har-Megiddo (Armageddon). Enjoy lunch on your own before proceeding to Caesarea to explore the aqueduct, Herodian harbor, Pontius Pilate’s palace, and theater. Travel through the Sharon Plain to Jerusalem, where you will be welcomed with a ceremony of bread and salt at Mount Scopus. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 7: Jerusalem
Following breakfast, begin with a breathtaking view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. Descend the traditional Palm Sunday Road to the Church of Dominus Flevit. Visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount, viewing the Dome of the Rock. Explore the Crusader Church of St. Anne and the healing Pools of Bethesda. In the evening, walk through underground tunnels to view remnants of the Temple Mount. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in Jerusalem.
Day 8: Jerusalem / Qumran
Start the day with breakfast before traveling to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, for a mud bath and float. En route, visit the Qumran Valley, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Return to Jerusalem to visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony. Proceed to Mount Zion to visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu and the Upper Room, traditional site of the Last Supper. Hear insights from a peace activist on the current situation and prospects for peace in the Holy Land. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 9: Jerusalem
After breakfast, rise early to walk the Via Dolorosa, reflecting on Christ’s suffering. Pass the 14 Stations of the Cross en route to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit Golgotha, the Chapel of the Skull of Adam, and the empty Tomb. Enjoy lunch on your own and spend the afternoon at leisure for shopping, additional sightseeing, or personal reflection. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 10: Mount Zion / Ein Karem / Israel Museum
Start the morning visiting Mount Zion including the Cenacle (Last Supper Room) and the Dormition Abbey. Then drive to Ein Karem and visit the Church of Visitation. After lunch continue to the Israel Museum and shrine of the book. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Return Home
Transfer this morning to the airport for check-in and flight departure. Arrive home enriched with your discoveries of faith and friendship in the Holy Land.
