Day 1: Departure for London

Day 2: Arrival in London, Hampton Court Palace
Touching down at London Heathrow Airport, we are warmly welcomed by your tour guide. Our first stop is Hampton Court Palace, where history echoes with the commissioning of the King James Version of the Bible. Explore the opulent chambers and intricate gardens, marveling at the architectural splendor of this Tudor palace. After a tour of this regal abode, we enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel, sharing stories and anticipation for the days ahead. (D)
Day 3: Westminster Abbey, Thames River Boat Tour, London Eye
Immerse ourselves in the grandeur of Westminster Abbey, where centuries of British monarchs have been crowned and laid to rest. Guided by the echoes of history, we discover the storied past of Poets’ Corner and the Jerusalem Chamber, steeped in religious significance. Following our time at the Abbey, embark on a leisurely boat tour along the Thames River, admiring iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Day 4: Spurgeon’s Metropolitan Tabernacle, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Bunhill Cemetery, Tower of London
Delve into the spiritual legacy of Charles Spurgeon at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, where his powerful sermons once echoed through the halls. Explore the majestic St. Paul’s Cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and adorned with intricate mosaics and towering domes. A visit to Bunhill Cemetery offers insight into the lives of notable figures such as John Bunyan and Susanna Wesley, whose contributions to Christian theology endure to this day. As the day draws to a close, we arrive in the historic city of Oxford, renowned for its prestigious university and architectural splendor. Take a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets, soaking in the ambiance of this scholarly enclave before dinner at our hotel.
Day 6: Oxford, C. S. Lewis Tour, Stratford-upon-Avon
Awaken to the intellectual hub of Oxford, where renowned scholars and literary giants have left an indelible mark on history. Join our local guide for a captivating tour of the city, including the iconic Radcliffe Camera and Bodleian Library. Trace the footsteps of C. S. Lewis, whose conversion to Christianity was shaped by his time at Oxford and his enduring friendship with J. R. R. Tolkien. Visit the historic sites associated with Lewis, including the Headington Quarry Church and the Eagle and Child Pub, where he gathered with fellow Inklings. Day 7: Stratford, York, Edinburgh

Day 8: Edinburgh, Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, John Knox
